Real Wedding: Joash & Natalie

Planning a wedding in itself is not an easy feat, when you have to factor in the various options out there for venues and vendors, coupled with family opinions. Throw in the fact that we are living in pandemic times, it definitely is stressful! Which is why Joash & Natalie reached out to us for help! They intended to plan a wedding happening in 2 months to commemorate a special date for them, and having a wedding planner to work out every aspect for them was the best decision they made.

When Joash reached out to us to help in the coordination of the proposal, we were so excited!

We worked together with their friends to arrange the setup, and even sneaked the photographers to the location to capture Natalie’s reaction! Their friends had set up a romantic proposal at a playground, which held special meaning to them in their early dating days. Being in Singapore, of course it rained, but it turned out to be a romantic scene reminding us of The Notebook. We were holding back tears as the couple walked down memory lane together.

Fast forward to their wedding day, after the usual wedding morning activities of hair and makeup, Natalie & Joash had a first look session at Botanic Gardens. It was the first time Joash saw Natalie in her wedding gown, *cue Beautiful in White*. They exchanged vows personally and the tear-jerking moment was captured perfectly by the team from Wanderlust Dream.

Their union was celebrated at Catholic Church of St. Ignatius with their nearest and dearest. The team from Flora Artisan perfectly executed Natalie’s Pinterest board of romantic boho vibes.

We were smiling and holding back tears when Natalie was walked down the aisle by her sweet parents, and witnessing the happy tears shed by them.

Following the heartfelt holy matrimony, we managed to squeeze time for a quick entourage photo taking session. This was one of the most spunky and fun-loving group of friends we have seen, their love for the couple was really evident. The photos of Team Bride look straight out of a Love Bonito advertisement!

It was then time to head back home for the ceremonial roast pig and tea ceremony, and of course the customary feeding one another Tang Yuan.

Everyone then reconvened for the wedding reception at Warehouse 16, where the floral masters from Flora Artisan decorated the blank canvas event space to marry the industrial warehouse vibes with romantic boho florals.

Joash and Natalie, thank you for inviting us into your planning journey and your heartfelt wedding! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
